Flora is a quiet, seemingly peaceful little town, with dark secrets hiding in every basement and shadowy corner. It’s also the setting of Foxglove, a horror-themed visual novel full of vampires, serial killers, spirits, and a cast of LGBT characters embroiled in what can be best described as a reverse murder mystery.

Foxglove tells the story of Felix Ferral, a reclusive local doctor who goes to extreme and sometimes fatal lengths trying to understand and connect with his fellow man. When Felix’s experiments go too far, endangering the lives of Felix’s friends and loved ones, Felix has to face the consequences of his actions or risk losing everything.

In the tradition of comfortingly spooky stories like Over the Garden Wall, Foxglove combines the cheery comfort of autumn days with the thrilling, eerie feeling of walking home alone on autumn nights. It’s a story where characters embody the dark academia aesthetic, magic is very real, and almost nothing is as it seems.
